Epic festival wedding photography of Erin + Ash festival wedding celebration, set in the stunning West Sussex countryside
When Erin first got in touch about inviting me to shoot their Festival Wedding Photography, I was so excited. We had first met back in the day while I was shooting club nights in Camden. (photos from which I still have, but wasn’t sure they should see the light of day, Messy!). So knew her wedding to the awesome Ash was going to be amazing, and couldn’t wait to tell their incredible wedding story.
Set in the vast picturesque fields of the incredible House on the Brooks this incredible DIY festival wedding even had its own map! With areas for games, music and camping, they seriously went all out. After taking a good nose around the site I headed over to catch up with the girls.
Erin and the girls were at the House on the Brooks main house finishing off breakfast when I arrived. Capturing a few of the details, including a stunningly colourful bouquet from The Oak and the Owl, before catching up with Erin as she had her hair done.
After skipping across to catch up with Ash. I headed back to the girls just as they were finishing getting ready and about to set off to the beautiful Saint Botolphs Hardham Church. Following a brilliant ceremony Erin and Ash left the church to a hail of flower petal confetti. Before jumping in my car to head off on a sneaky road trip to capture some moments together.
Once back at the venue the party kicked in with some brilliant lawn games and music. Before calling everyone in for speeches, a marvelous selection of food and a great opportunity for some festival wedding photography. As the night moved on the jagger came out at the party really kicked up a notch, with the first dance turning into some sort of dance off! it was awesome! While the sun faded away the party stepped up yet again with quite possibly the best wedding band ever. Anyone say Queen Tribute!
The hugest of all thank you’s to the awesome and thoroughly incredible Erin & Ash for inviting me along to tell their festival wedding photography story.
