Parley Manor wedding photography with the brilliant Laura & Scott, along with their wonderfully close family and friends. Set in the stunning gardens of the beautiful Parley Manor, this late summer wedding was simply perfect and a lovely story to tell.
I first met Laura well ages ago! Her mum (Jennie) I one of my mum’s best friends. So when Laura got in touch to ask if I would be her Parley Manor wedding photographer I jumped at the opportunity. I had met both Laura & Scott earlier in the year to have a nosey about the stunningly beautiful Parley Manor. This was the also the perfect chance to have a chat about what they had planned for their day.
When we got to the big day itself I caught up with Laura and her bridesmaids, getting ready at her nan’s beautiful New Forest home. After capturing a few details, and setting the scene for the wonderfully chilled out morning, Laura was in the chair having her makeup attended to by her sister Abbey.
I left the girls and headed across to catch up with scott. Being able to capture both sides of the wedding story is really important to me. Sometimes its not logistically feasible, but when it is it really helps complete the story. Scott was chilling with his family when I arrived. He, in true groom fashion, only took moments to get into his cilt. Before popping open a bottle of cracking looking 18 year old single malt! mmmmmm
Back with the girls, Laura was just putting the finishing touch on getting ready. Before heading off to her Parley Manor wedding with her girls in a stunning bright red Vw Splitscreen camper. I managed to arrive with plenty of time to capture their guests arrive and making their way to the ceremony space. Where a still very smart Scott was waiting joking with friends and family.
Once she arrived, Laura made her way down to the Parley Manor wedding ceremony space accompanied by her father. Following a wonderful ceremony, the newly married couple joined their friends and family on the lawn.
Once the guests had joined Laura & Scott in the beautifully adorned Parley Manor wedding marquee. The speeches and wedding breakfast kicked off. After tucking into an incredible hog roast I joined Laura and Scott on a little wander around the beautiful grounds. The last of the days light streamed across the crop fields, as I took a minute or two to capture a few moments of them together before heading back to kick the party off.
In true scottish fashion there was of course an incredible Cèilidh to kick the party in to full speed. As the stars came out the party carried on, with everyone getting in to the spirit. A massive thank you the amazing Laura & Scott for inviting me along to tell their lovely Parley Manor wedding photography story.
