Becky + Micheal

Southsea Wedding Photographer

Southsea Castle Wedding Photography with the wonderful Becky and Micheal, from the brilliant Southsea Square Tower to the stunning Southsea Castle.

I was lucky enough to catch up with Becky & Michael for some Hampshire Portrait Photography before the big day. This was the perfect opportunity to begin telling their story and getting them used to me capturing their Southsea Castle wedding photography. So when the day came and I met Becky getting ready at her local hair salon so was already used to me being around.

Becky caught up with the rest of the girl back at her parents house, having a sneaky snack before getting ready. Whilst the girls started getting read I took a look at some Becky’s stunning wedding details. Becky’s jewel of the details being a stunning, very mod looking, button bouquet. Once ready the girls headed off to the seafront to meet their transport for the rest of the journey. The Southsea Landtrain was truly something to behold! Such a unique choice for wedding transport, and despite the less than seasonal weather the girls couldn’t help smiling in it.

Michael was greeting their guest when I arrived at the Southsea Square Tower for their initial wedding ceremony. Becky then arrived at the Square Tower in her marvelous transport soon after. She was then escorted by her father to meet Michael at the head of the ceremony. Following the wonderful Square Tower ceremony, the couple lead their guests out for a few family moments. After which the guests were all picked up by a stunning old routemaster.

Becky and Michael took a few moments together outside the Square tower before hoping back on the land train to head back across to continue their Southsea Castle Wedding photography at the beautiful Southsea castle itself. The couple arrived through the Southsea Castle gates to a flurry of confetti across the land train. Once arrived they greeted all their guests before heading into the venue for their wedding breakfast.

Following the wonderful meal and speeches Becky and Michael ducked out into the last ray of light. To spend a little time walking the battlements of Southsea Castle and was the perfect time for me to capture some moments of them together. They arrived back in time to kick of the evening with an epic first dance, that set the standard for the rest of the amazing party.

A huge thank you to Becky and Michael for trusting me to tell their incredible story, for treating me like one of the family and for inviting me to capture their Southsea Castle Wedding Photography.
