Sandhurst wedding photographer at the stunning striking Medical Corps officers mess with the awesome yogaing, bicycling Rachel + Jim
Rachel + Jim first got in touch through a good friend. When they contacted me and began to go through their plans. I couldn’t wait and jumped at the opportunity to be their Sandhurst wedding photographer.
The Medical Corps mess at Sandhurst is a stunning building. It was incredible to explore the night before. Although that said it was slightly unnerving when an assault rifle wielding MP approached me asking what I was doing with my camera!
The story began at Rachel + Jim’s beautiful Sandhurst flat. Where I met the girls in the garden, warming up with a light spot of yoga. Back across in the Sandhurst grounds Jim was warming up for the day with his mates. Pulling on the lycra and jumping on the bikes for some serious wedding day warm up.
Rachel & Jim’s ceremony itself took place in the incredibly imposing The Royal Memorial Chapel, Sandhurst. After the ceremony the happy couple left the chapel beneath a waiting Saber arch. Waiting outside along with their guest, was their brilliant tandem bike. Complete with ribbons and of course a bottle of champagne.
During the spectacular cycle back to the reception Rachel & Jim took a moment stop of a the lake. Here their Sandhurst wedding photographer was able to capture the connection between the couple.
That evening an incredible Ceilidh band kick off an incredible night of entertainment and merriment. The one thing I have certainly learnt over the past few years is the military weddings now how to party. Hard.
Thank you again to Rachel & Jim themselves for inviting me to be their Sandhurst wedding photographer and to tell their amazing story
